A guest traveller is someone who does not have an existing profile on your business account while still needing a reservation.
When you book on behalf of a guest traveller, a profile will automatically be created within your Booking.com for Business account, enabling you to input all relevant information. This streamlines the booking process for future reservations. Please note that guest travellers will not have access to your Booking.com for Business account.
The booking process for guest travellers varies based on the type of reservation: accommodation, flights, or car rental.
For accommodation
You will be asked to enter the guest traveller information during the last step of the accommodation booking process.
- Go to the selected room for the guest traveller
- Add traveller details: Click on ‘Traveller’ and start typing the name of the guest. If a profile already exists in your business account, it will auto-populate, allowing you to select it. If not, a pop-up window will appear for you to create a new guest traveller profile.
- Fill in the requested information
- Click on confirm to add the details to the reservation. After this step, you can continue the process to finalise your booking.

For flights
To set-up who is travelling:
- From the dashboard select ‘Flights’
- Click the box ‘I'm booking flights for another traveller’
- Add guest traveller details: Begin typing the name of the guest traveller. If a profile already exists, it will appear for selection. If not, a pop-up window will allow you to create a new profile.
- Proceed with booking: Once the details are confirmed, continue the booking process.

For car rental
To set-up who is travelling:
- From the dashboard select ‘Book rental car’
- Add guest traveller: Start typing the guest traveller’s name. If an existing profile is present, it will appear for selection. If not, a pop-up will allow for profile creation.
- Continue with your reservation: After completing the guest details, proceed with the booking process.
